I look forward with great enthusiasm and excitement to this golden opportunity to continue the momentum that Past President Adria Taha-Resnick created. Adria, we all deeply appreciate you for the dedication, expertise and energy you so willingly and generously shared as you leaned upon, as well as graciously guided, the amazing 2022-23 CAAEYC Board.
CAAEYC is known for its consistent history of building and mentoring leadership skills among its members. This history of leadership remains ever strong and vibrant within this professional organization. We hope you reach out to experience the various professional growth and leadership opportunities available to you and your colleagues.
An important part of welcoming the new CAAEYC Board members to their new roles is addressing how to follow-up on prior Board work. A more immediate goal is to identify what should be reviewed and strengthened, such as crafting a future two-way communication with members in the form of a 2024 Membership Survey.
Another CAAEYC Board focus is to expand and support Board Committees. Each member of the Executive Committee will attend and be available to support our existing Committees. Offering your services on a committee allows for another path to your leadership and growth as you directly connect with the Executive Committee.
The entire CAAEYC Board looks forward to working with each and every one of you, whether you choose to work with a local or state committee, become a chapter leader, complete an upcoming survey, or attend a Chapter, State or National event. We especially invite you to be an active part of the CAAEYC Conference in Pasadena on April 19-21, 2024. We hope to see you presenting, attending or volunteering!
