NAEYC Lasting Legacy Scholarship Recipient Leah Catching

CAAEYC is excited to share that Leah Catching, Secretary of East Bay Chapter of CAAEYC and CAAEYC Public Policy Committee member, was one of the ten emerging ECE leaders chosen to receive the NAEYC Lasting Legacy Scholarship.

The scholarship program sends early childhood educators to the NAEYC Annual Conference. Scholars come from early education centers, school districts, community colleges and universities. They may be involved in direct care or designing curriculum for educators. They have in common a desire to be more – to do more – for the profession.
