Southern California Chapter

The Southern California Chapter enjoys a cohesive and fun board of directors who want the best for those who give so much to children and their families.

The Southern California Chapter board, members and friends joined for a “self-care” day and leisurely visit and lunch at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden on Tuesday, December 21.

The Southern California Chapter Board invites any CAAEYC member, friend or colleague who wish to step off the busy merry-go-round of life, and allow time for reflection, to join in the festivities at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden. If you are on break from school or can take the day away, do come and watch the array of peacocks and pea hens roam the grounds, take a self-guided tour, and just center down. A garden is a great place to play.

The Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden is open to the public. If you are interested in visiting the Arboretum start here: https://www.arboretum.org.
