Early Childhood Education (ECE) begins with a skilled and educated workforce. Adults' skills, just like children’s skills, are developed through time. Mentors, trainers, coaches and faculty each uniquely influence, yet collaboratively prepare, support and sustain the ECE workforce. The California Forum for Professional Development provides common language, a continuum of responsibility and an opportunity to collaborate about their unified purpose.
