Registration for the California Forum for Professional Development Is Now Open!

Forum is not like other conferences. The weekend offers a deeper dive into topics that explore our roles as providers of professional development. By including extended sessions, two receptions, two breakfasts and two lunches, the Forum is a great place to connect with thought partners and critical friends from across the state. Forum was designed to prompt conversation and collaboration across California’s robust but fragmented system of supports for early childhood educators seeking to improve their practice.
We are excited to continue in partnership with California Department of Education - Early Education and Support Division to deliver an opportunity to:
- Build a community of diverse providers of professional learning for California’s early childhood education system including coaches, mentors, trainers, specialists, consultants, managers, coordinators, college instructors, technical assistance providers and other roles that support professional learning,
- Ensure providers of professional learning are empowered with the dispositions, knowledge and skills they need to support educators on their professional journeys including information about subject content, pedagogy, andragogy and systems thinking.
- Participants will collaborate on a comprehensive vision of quality for teacher preparation, induction and ongoing professional learning.
