Local Affiliates in Action: We Want to Hear about Your Local Advocacy Activities!

Please email your local advocacy activities to Public Policy Chair Linda Olivenbaum at lolivenbaum2@comcast.net so that CAEYC is informed. We aim to speak with a collective voice for our members; hearing about your activities allows us to respond if necessary.

There is another opportunity to make your voice heard on the proposed revisions to the Child Development Permit Matrix made by the Advisory Panel formed by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing! CAEYC previously sent out information on three Surveys for Public Input. If you missed the survey deadline, you may still send a letter to the Permit Advisory Panel in care of Erin Sullivan (CTC staff).  Your views will be included in the public communication aspect of the January 9, 2017 meeting. Individuals may also speak directly to the panel at its meeting in January and again to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing in February.

For more information on the Advisory Panel’s recommendations, read the Update on the Work of the Commission’s Child Development Permit Advisory Panel report (see pages EPC 2E-18 - 22).
