Welcome to Fall! We hope everyone enjoyed the summer months and have had a smooth transition into a new school year.

CAAEYC's Professional Development Committee comprises 10 members from around the state with diverse roles and experiences in early learning in California, other states, and other countries. We work together to plan and present professional development opportunities for our members and the early learning community throughout the year. We are gearing up and creating our calendar of events for fall 2023 through summer 2024, and we have some great opportunities in the works.

This year we are expanding our offerings beyond in-person and virtual workshops—look for announcements for blogs, podcasts, book clubs and more! We have a short Professional Development Survey for you to share your thoughts and needs with us so we can plan opportunities that will most meet your needs. The survey has 8 questions and should take about 5 minutes to complete—we are looking forward to your input as we plan our calendar! Start here for the survey.

We are also working diligently to get all our professional development opportunities listed in the California Workforce Registry, as well as record attendance. Please be patient as we get caught up and add new events.
