Professional Development – Join with Us

The Professional Development Committee meets via teleconference every month to plan and evaluate professional development events around the state. Our professional development events include our Annual Conference and Expo in the spring and virtual monthly regional workshops and other events. We are hoping to offer some in-person events around the state in 2022, as well. We need to plan regional workshops for the 2022 and I need additional committee members and ideas to complete the plan. I am working to build an inclusive committee of CAAEYC members (and nonmembers) to participate on the committee; all are invited to join—we are committed to inclusive and equitable committees that represent our members and the ECE community in California. I’m also excited to share that CAAEYC and our local chapters will be able to put your participation in our professional development events into the California Workforce Registry.
