CAAEYC Creativity Museum Event

For two and one-half hours, early childhood educators from around the country took over the Children’s Creativity Museum, just two blocks from NAEYC’s Professional Learning Institute in San Francisco. Welcomed by CAAEYC’s President Cary Larson-McKay and our event sponsors, the San Francisco Child Care Providers Association’s Sara Hicks-Kilday and Lakeshore Learning Materials, guests began the night with a taco bar from San Francisco’s famous Mission District. Then everyone spread out to enjoy the museum’s interactive exhibits and we added an exhibit of our own. Teachers from nearby Judith Baker Child Development Center presented documentation panels and artifacts from their two-year study of robotics. Eventually, thanks to our DJ, the night winded down with a dance party. CAAEYC is proud to have been a part of rejuvenating creative spirit and we look forward to seeing you next time.
