CAEYC Has Reason to Celebrate

Ellen Junn, Past President of CAEYC from 2003-2005, has recently been named the President of California State University, Stanislaus. In the university’s announcement of Dr. Junn’s appointment it recognized her service to the California State University system and the students attending and learning from and with her.

“Over the last 25 years, as she served in teaching and leadership positions at five California State University campuses, Ellen Junn constantly displayed a gift for helping non-traditional students succeed — one of the many qualities that will serve her well as the 11th president of California State University, Stanislaus.” They also listed one of her many accomplishments as being, “…widely published and has written professional journal articles on topics such as supporting the success of underserved students, the importance of university-community engagement, and strategies for supporting non-tenure track faculty, especially women and minorities.”

Ellen, we celebrate your success and are proud that you were such an influential leader for CAEYC. Thank you and best wishes.
