Greetings from the CAEYC National Dialogue Ad Hoc Committee

We trust that Affiliate Leaders across our state have been fully engaged in thoughtful conversation about the National Dialogue and are ready to take the next step. Affiliate Presidents, on Thursday, February 11, you should have received an email from our CAEYC State office outlining those steps.

In that document was a paragraph titled: CAEYC Local Affiliate Check-in Questions. That has a link to a survey to be completed by Friday February 19. If you did not complete the survey, your feedback is still requested. Contact Deidre Bryant at the CAEYC State office if you need it resent. Some of you are having Board Meetings after that deadline. If you have not already done so, let the office know so that we are aware of your progress.

On February 3, Affiliate Leaders were emailed the check-in survey from NAEYC. That is due by February 29. If you did not receive it, we have provided a link under the paragraph NAEYC Affiliate Check-in (in our email letter from February 11). This is the only check-in with this process. So it is critical that you participate.

The Discussion Room is open at www.caeyc.org. You can post questions or thoughts. It is being checked regularly by Committee members and staff.

Also, if you would like to have a teleconference with another Affiliate, contact the CAEYC State office, 916-486-7750, and they will set that up at no cost.

We are in exciting times! This is a collaboration between all of us. It is about what we can do for and with each other as we move forward.
