Welcome to the "New Reimagined CAAEYC"

Yes you are reading that correctly! As part of our branding alignment with NAEYC, state affiliates will now use two letters to identify their respective states. Since California and Colorado both use CAEYC, we are reimagined as CAAEYC (and they are COAEYC). They have become COAEYC. This is part of the new branding taking place across the nation, giving our Association a more cohesive look.

We had a wonderful role out of our new logo at State Conference in Ontario. There were lots of great comments about how fresh and clean it looks. During the NAEYC Affiliate Leadership call on April 11 our new look was featured. Executive Director Deidre Bryant presented on what the process was like ~ from creative conception, moving it through the committee process and then on to the CAAEYC State Board for approval. The process began last August with rollout in March.

The next steps are in place to begin the transition to CAAEYC with a chapter structure. Members of the National Dialogue Ad Hoc Committee, as well as Region Representatives and staff are partnering with our Local Affiliates to assist with the transition. A series of steps have been developed in the form of a “transition toolkit” to facilitate as smooth a process as possible. A new email address: chapters@caeyc.org was established for information sharing and getting questions answered.

As we work through this transition process, continue connecting with like-minded ECE professionals in your community. Encourage colleagues to join CAAEYC if they are not members. You are a vital part of keeping our organization vibrant and thriving.

Remember "Together We're Stronger."
