The breakout sessions are 90 minutes each and some of the subject areas include:

    • Transitions
    • Conflict Resolution/Emotional Regulation
    • Robust TK programs and teams
    • Curriculum based topics (math, reading, etc.)
    • California Learning Foundations
    • School Readiness for Students and Families

How to Register and the Cost -- Registration is Now Closed
Registration is now closed. The cost is $365 for NAEYC/CAAEYC members and $465 for nonmembers. The registration fee includes all sessions and meals (breakfast on Friday and Saturday, lunch on Friday and a light reception on Friday night).

Space for this inaugural event is limited; COEs, School Districts and School sites are encouraged to identify a small group they would like to attend to maximize opportunities for all agencies and interested individuals to participate. In addition, our maximum capacity of participants is 120. It is possible that we may have to limit the number of participants from any given school district. As we plan for the TK Institute in 2025, we will be able to accommodate a greater number of participants.

How to Reserve a Room at the Marriott -- Deadline Has Passed
The room rate per night at the Marriott is $169 (does not include taxes, service fees, etc.); and it is available on October 3 and 4. Self-parking is reduced to $20 per night. The hotel reservation deadline was Friday, September 27, 2024.
