Committee Member - Accreditation
Seon Chun-Burbank has been in ECE field for more than 20 years as a classroom teacher, an ECE technology instructor, an ECERS-R evaluator, a consultant, and a college professor in Seoul, Korea; Singapore; Waterloo, Iowa; Juneau, Alaska; Pasadena, California; and Costa Mesa, California. Currently, she chairs Early Childhood Education Program of Vanguard University, Costa Mesa, CA.
Even though Seon highly enjoys being a pre-K classroom teacher and treasures her time interacting with young children, she believes that providing quality education to adult learners who can influence young children’s development is her calling. Seon knows and believes the importance of early childhood in human development, and she is willing to share her knowledge and belief to anyone in any setting.
Seon received a Doctor of Education in Curriculum & Instruction degree (with ECE concentration) under the direction of Dr. Rheta DeVries.
