The official labels of my life? A PhD from Claremont Graduate University, my MA and BA in Child Development from CSU Los Angeles, an AA Degree from East Los Angeles College, and currently an Associate Professor at CSU Bakersfield, those are the official things.
However, my life is really about a belief that creativity is essential to all learning and teaching, family (mom to my incredible sons, wife to an amazing playwright husband, and Noni to grandchildren that delight me), my faith in people (sometimes tested), and knowing that children are the hope for us all. These life elements make me responsible to this world and the children in it. This is where I actually live my life. This is where my heart is found.
