MISSION

Vision
We believe that the future of early childhood education remains in the hands of strong professionals who are able to advocate and collaborate for the best interests of children and families.

Through sustained opportunities to develop new leadership skills within a nurturing environment, we will develop leaders

  • Who have mastered the skills of organizational management and team building
  • Who are powerful and articulate voices for children and high quality early care and education at the regional, county and local level.
  • Who confront the deep-seated prejudices that pervade our society and our field and have the courage to take action

SCAEYC leaders now and in the future will play a significant role in shaping excellent early care and education systems in the region.

Mission
Southern California Association for the Education of Young Children is a regional organization dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of early childhood leaders and advocating for the highest quality of early education for all children.
VOLUNTEER

Get involved and you'll help shape the future of the early childhood profession. Experience the power of diverse perspectives and shared commitment to young children and our profession as we strive to be a high performing inclusive organization.

Southern California AEYC has become a powerful voice not only within the local community, but in the greater childhood development field, through continued support by volunteers. Our continued success depends on member volunteers who want to make a difference.

Please consider showing your support by offering a few hours per month of your time to help us make Southern California AEYC a model affiliate. If interested, please visit our Contact page to obtain contact information.
