MISSION

Value Statement
The East Bay Association for the Education of Young Children values are to:

  • Provide educational service to families and young children.
  • Encourage high quality and developmentally appropriate education.
  • Be available for ALL young children.
  • Be an inclusive organization which provides training and leadership in many venues and languages for professional early childhood educators.

Mission
EBAEYC will be represented as a voice in all aspects of early childhood (i.e.: Healthcare, Education, Community Planning Council, Social Services, Leisure Services,Corporate Planning).

All children will be safe from violence.

All children will have equal access to healthcare, childcare and quality early childhood education.

All early childhood educators will have completed the "Master Teacher" level on the Matrix and all these teachers will receive a living wage for their work.
