Vision
Central Valley AEYC vision is to....
- Represent a diverse range of services to young children and their families.
- Represent a voice speaking on behalf of young children and their families in a time of dramatically increased public awareness of the critical significance of the child's early years.
- Improve and enrich the quality of care and education of the young children and their families.
And
- Increase communication and commitment among local, state, and federal legislation and current issues and problems, which effect young children and their families.
Mission
Central Valley AEYC is...
- A non-profit association, representing a diverse range of services to young children.
- One of the affiliate of the National AEYC and official chapter of the California AEYC.
- An informed and respected voice speaking on behalf of young children in a time of dramatically increased public awareness of the critical significance of the child's early years.
- Open to all interested in contributing positively to the education and well being of young children.
Central Valley AEYC seeks...
- To improve and enrich the quality of care and education of the young child through a program of services, study, and action.
- To increase communication among those interested in or working with young children.
- To take unified action on current issues and problems that affect young children.
- To offer an opportunity to explore and to discuss the current needs and concerns of those interested in young children.

Central Valley Association for the Education of Young Children welcomes volunteers. There are many ways you can serve and take on a leadership role. You could help out at a community event; send e-mails; update mailing lists; or participate on our board as a chair or committee member.
