Her most recent book is Taking Back Childhood: Helping Your Kids Thrive in a Fast-Paced, Media-Saturated, Violence-Filled World. She is an advocate for policies and practices that promote children’s well-being and encourage their self-understanding, empathy, and awareness of our common humanity.
